The Best Travel Time Worldmap is an interactive map that shows you which countries are worth visiting each month. Pick a travel style — sun, city, nature, winter sports — and your home region, and the map colors in. Green means excellent, red means avoid. It answers a simple question that generic travel advice can't: what's actually good for me right now? We built it because "best time to visit Thailand" is worthless advice. For whom? A solo backpacker? A couple wanting fewer crowds? Someone hiking in the mountains? And from where — 2 hours away or 14 hours? Every answer is different, but every blog just repeats the same November-is-best nonsense. The real problem: travelers get stuck between two bad options. But here's the thing: a sun-seeker and a hiker weight weather totally differently. July in Iceland scores terrible if you want sun, excellent if you want to trek. The algorithm gets that. For travelers, it means specific answers. "Hiking in Peru from North America, available July-September" becomes: July scores 72 (dry but high altitude rainfall), August scores 78 (driest, best views), September scores 76 (less crowded, rain picking up).
