I used to lie awake for hours every night. My mind wouldn't shut up. I tried Headspace, Calm, all the big names - but honestly? Too many choices, too much setup, too overwhelming when you're already exhausted.
What actually worked was stupidly simple: just breathing. Not fancy meditation, just structured inhale-hold-exhale patterns. I started doing basic pranayama before bed and during panic moments. Nothing else - no apps, no subscriptions, just counting breaths.
After a few weeks, something shifted. I was falling asleep faster. The 3am anxiety spirals got shorter. It wasn't magic, just consistency with something basic that actually stuck.
So I built Deep Flow - basically the app I wish existed back then.
The whole point is zero friction:
Open app → breathing starts immediately (no "choose your journey" BS)
Eyes-closed mode for actual bedtime use
Sessions are short because nobody needs another 30-minute commitment
Just patterns, subtle sounds, and a timer
I still use it myself when I can't sleep or feel that stress chest-tightening thing coming on. Built it selfishly, but figured if it helped me get out of that hole, maybe it'll help someone else too.
It's free, no account needed, no data collection. Just putting it out there in case anyone else is tired of being tired.

Breathing exercises are one of the most accessible stress management tools out there. Having a guided flow that teaches deep breathing techniques makes a real difference for anxiety and focus.
good work
