I built Flikker after a big client project went wrong: no contract, no milestones, no proof, no pay. I didn’t want to chase invoices or trust “net 60/90” ever again, so I turned every project into small, funded steps.
Flikker is for any project-based work – freelancers, consultants, studios, agencies, creators – across design, dev, marketing, coaching and more. If you do work for clients and get paid per project, you can run it through Flikker.
Flikker lets you:
• Break one risky project into clear milestones – each with one amount and “done” criteria.
• Generate a contract where every milestone becomes a shared checklist.
• Have the client fund one or more milestones upfront by card through Stripe.
• Let Stripe hold the money as a delayed payout until the client approves the work.
• Attach files and links to each milestone so approval is based on evidence, not memory.
• Trigger payout with one click when the client approves – Flikker asks Stripe to pay you out.
A few key points:
• Not a marketplace – you bring your own clients.
• Stripe handles cards and KYC; Flikker orchestrates milestones, contracts and payout timing.
• Minimum milestone amount is $30; Flikker takes a small platform fee per funded milestone.
• Stripe’s card fees are separate and go to Stripe, not to Flikker.
If you run client projects and you’ve ever been ghosted on an invoice, Flikker is meant to be the “never again” button: no funds, no work; approval, then payout.
