Nous: Reading Tracker

Nous is a book tracker designed for readers who want to build real understanding from what they read. You can track individual reading sessions, capture reflections as you go, and see your progress over time. Most book trackers are shelves with a few statistics. Where Nous shines is offering features that are empirically known to enhance understanding. From the science of learning and memory, it is known that active recall — remembering with effort in the moment — is the best lever to embed knowledge. At the end of each session, you can take a session summary down. Then, when starting a new reading session, you recall what you remember from the last time — tying the knot of memory. You will remember a lot more of what you read from this simple effort! Alongside that, it is effortless to capture your thoughts as they arrive. Either input by text or use voice dictation, which is enhanced to clean up filler words and create the most structured notes, all in your own words.
