Overhaul
Working on an improved completely redone interface. All the free features that were there will remain free. Most of the premium features are ready to be rolled out. The site has been taken offline temporarily while I make the transition to the new app. Stay tuned!

UX updates
Checking in again. I've added an optional opening tour and cleaned up the interface. I've smoothed some jumpy interface issues and also implemented a better versioning system, proper changelog, and a new git that separated the core app with the MIT license from the private and separately commercially licensed premium features. I'll start rolling those out soon. I'll be adding PDF bank statement imports and bulk imports for receipts and bank statements.

Why did I build this?
I set out to build this as a tool that I myself would use. I was unhappy with most other budgeting apps that stored my data in the cloud and none of them had all of the features I wanted in one place. I also believe in a philosophy where users have access to powerful UI design customization tools and the ability to make the app more their own. I wanted this all to be done under a business model where ethics and user-respect, dignity, autonomy, and empowerment are the highest priorities. I hope you find this to be useful.

Building what you actually need is always the best motivation. Love the privacy-first approach too.
Suggestions Box
What are some features and things you would like to see in the app? What do you like in a budgeting app? Do you notice any bugs? Feel free to reach out. Be as blunt as you want. You won't hurt my feelings.

Love that you're asking for feedback this early. Great way to build with your users.
@swinchercreative Yes. I think it's very important to be in touch with users to the best of one's ability.
