RateGame started as therapy, not as a startup.
A few years ago, I found myself in a place a lot of sports fans quietly end up: addicted to the rush of gambling. What began as a way to make games “more exciting” slowly rewired the way I watched them. Wins didn’t feel like wins anymore. I wasn’t celebrating moments; I was tracking outcomes. Somewhere along the line, I lost the very thing that made me love sports in the first place.
So I decided to build my way back.
RateGame is the result; a simple, joyful app that lets fans rate and review every game they watch on a 0.0–10.0 scale, and leave a short “Take” of what they thought. Think Letterboxd for sports. It’s a place to catalog your own sports memories, discover the best games through the eyes of other fans, and reconnect with the pure emotion that makes sports special.
There’s no gambling, no odds, no dopamine traps.
Just a community built around passion, storytelling, and shared experience -the way sports were meant to be felt.
I didn’t create RateGame to make money. I built it to fall back in love with sports.
And now it’s helping others do the same.
RateGame - For the Love of the Game.
