I'm incredibly excited to share that we've just launched **SocialScoreKeeper** - a family connection platform that I believe solves one of the most frustrating and anxiety-inducing challenges facing youth sports parents today.
**The Problem We're Solving:**
If you're a parent managing youth sports, you know the drill. Every single game, you're fielding texts from grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends asking "Where's the game again?" at 7am on a Saturday morning. You've become the unofficial family WhatsApp admin, constantly sharing schedules, locations, and updates. And then there's the sharenting dilemma - 70% of parents report anxiety about posting their children on public social media, yet we want to share these precious moments with the people who matter most.
We built SocialScoreKeeper to solve both of these problems simultaneously.
**How It Works:**
SocialScoreKeeper is a family connection platform designed to provide private support for young athletes during their formative years. You create a private, invitation-only "Fan Club" around YOUR child (not the team). Family members get direct access to game schedules, locations with driving directions, photos, videos, and even live streams - all within a completely private environment. No ads, no data harvesting, no public feeds. Just your trusted circle staying connected to your young athlete's journey.
This platform helps you show your children that you are watching and supporting them during their early sporting journey by creating a secure space for digital memories. You can share games, photos, and milestones within your inner circle, curated by invitation-ONLY, ensuring that moments are shared with the people who matter most rather than the public world.
**Why This Matters:**
As parents, we're constantly juggling work, travel, multiple kids, and the logistics of youth sports. The mental load of being the family coordinator is real. SocialScoreKeeper takes that burden off your plate by giving your trusted circle a single source of truth for everything related to your child's sporting activities. Grandma doesn't need to text you for the location anymore - she opens the app and gets driving directions. Uncle Joe can see the game schedule for the entire season. Your extended family feels connected even when they can't make it to every game.
But more importantly, we're addressing the elephant in the room: sharenting anxiety. We love sharing our kids' achievements, but posting them on Facebook, Instagram, or other public platforms feels increasingly wrong. We're building digital footprints for our children before they're old enough to consent, and we're exposing them to an audience we can't control. SocialScoreKeeper gives you the best of both worlds - the ability to celebrate and share your child's journey with the people who genuinely care, while maintaining complete privacy and control.
**Early Traction & Partnership:**
We just announced our first major partnership with **Junior Grassroots Hub** - a UK-based community dedicated to supporting grassroots football families, coaches, and clubs. This partnership validates what we've been building. We share Junior Grassroots Hub's commitment to putting families first and making youth sports more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. They're all about supporting the grassroots football community, and we're building tools that help parents stay connected to their young athletes while protecting their privacy and reducing the coordination chaos.
To celebrate the partnership, we're running a holiday giveaway with promo code JGHXMAS2025 where users can win a custom SocialScoreKeeper-branded YETI Rambler. The response has been incredibly positive, and we're seeing real engagement from parents who immediately understand the problem we're solving.
**The Vision:**
This is just the beginning. We're building SocialScoreKeeper to be the private family platform for youth sports - a place where young athletes can grow up knowing their family is watching, supporting, and celebrating them in a safe, private environment. We want to give parents peace of mind that they can share their children's journey without the anxiety of public exposure. We want to reduce the mental load of coordinating with extended family. And we want to create a digital memory book that families can cherish for years to come.
We're available on both iOS and Android right now, and we're iterating based on feedback from early users. The platform is free to get started, and we're focused on building features that genuinely make parents' lives easier.
**Why I'm Sharing This Here:**
I'm bringing this to the PeerPush community because I'd love your feedback, insights, and honest critique. If you're a youth sports parent, I'd especially value your perspective on what we've built and what we should build next. If you know parents who might benefit from this, I'd be grateful for any introductions or shares.
