Stay the Week is a private, invite-only home sharing platform for homeowners who want to share a vacation home, lake house, cabin, beach house, condo, or second property with friends and family without listing it publicly. Instead of managing requests through group texts, spreadsheets, and scattered messages, homeowners get one secure place to organize guest access, availability, bookings, property details, and billing. Homeowners can create detailed property pages with photos, descriptions, amenities, occupancy limits, check-in and check-out times, house manuals, and access information. They can block off unavailable dates, set stay-length limits, invite specific guests by email, choose which properties each guest can access, and manage bookings from a centralized dashboard. The platform also supports subscription billing through Stripe, including a free trial, saved payment methods, and subscription management for one or multiple properties. Guests do not browse a public marketplace. They can only join through a valid invitation and only see the homes they have been given access to. Once inside, guests can view property details, check availability, make bookings, manage upcoming stays, and cancel reservations when needed. This keeps the experience simple, private, and limited to trusted relationships. Stay the Week also includes an admin portal for platform oversight, with visibility into users, properties, subscriptions, billing health, security settings, and blocked emails. Overall, the app is built for private home sharing, not short-term rental exposure, giving homeowners a controlled way to share their homes with people they already know.
