Yoink Adventures serves as your personal collection tracker for life experiences. You can discover unique locations, log your visits with photos, and share your progress with others. Whether you are tracking visits to National Parks, MLB stadiums, or building your own custom collections, this tool helps you document your journey and capture memories along the way.
Really excited to finally share Yoink Adventures with the dev community
This project started as a personal itch—how do you turn real-world exploration into something collectible, social, and map-driven?—and grew into a full mobile-first web app where users can Discover, Log, and Share places they’ve been, complete with photos, categories, and location context.
It’s built with a focus on:
• clean, modular vanilla JS (no heavy frameworks)
• Supabase for auth, data, and storage
• Google Places for location integrity
• thoughtful UX for editing, images, and navigation
• accessibility and real-world usability from day one
Still evolving, but already feels like a solid foundation I’m proud of. Looking forward to feedback, ideas, and conversations with other builders who love maps, travel, and turning side projects into real products.
