About Cartlens

CartLens β€” Your AI-Powered Shopping Spending Auditor πŸŽ₯ Watch the Full Demo: https://youtu.be/s5cTNW3cV8c Most people have no idea how much money they lose shopping every month. Not from splurging β€” from simply not knowing. A product that's cheaper somewhere else. A price that quietly crept up. A cart full of purchases that added up to far more than they should have. CartLens fixes that. What CartLens Does CartLens turns your receipts into actionable intelligence. Snap a photo of any receipt β€” retail, online, in-store β€” and our AI extracts every item, price, quantity, and unit cost in seconds. From there, CartLens cross-references your purchases against a live, crowdsourced price index β€” the Geospatial Lattice β€” built from real shopper data across stores and regions. You instantly see where you overpaid, what the better price was, and how much you left on the table. It's not just a receipt scanner. It's a full spending audit engine. Core Features Receipt Scanning & AI Extraction β€” Powered by Gemini 2.5, CartLens reads any receipt with high accuracy: printed, digital, crumpled, or photographed at an angle. It normalizes product names across merchants so the same item is compared consistently, no matter where you bought it. Geospatial Lattice β€” A crowdsourced, real-time price index that tracks what products actually cost across stores near you. When your purchase beats the record low price in the lattice, you've found a Lattice-Beater. When you paid above average, CartLens flags it. Optimization Score & Leakage Protocol β€” Your Optimization Score reflects how efficiently you're spending: (Spend - Leakage) / Spend. Leakage is the money you didn't have to spend. CartLens tracks it over time so you can watch your savings grow as you shop smarter. CartAssistant β€” An AI chat agent built into the app. Ask it anything: "What did I spend on electronics last month?", "Which store gave me the best prices?", "How has the price of this item changed over time?" It pulls from your full purchase history to answer with real data, not guesses. Spending DNA β€” CartLens builds a profile of your aggregate purchase behavior over time. Your most-overpaid categories, your best-value stores, seasonal spending patterns β€” all surfaced automatically. Master Insight Audits β€” Trigger a deep AI analysis of your full purchase history for a comprehensive spending audit. Uncover hidden patterns, recurring overpayments, and opportunities you'd never catch manually. Intelligence Calibration (ULTRA) β€” Fine-tune the Geospatial Lattice by adjusting Horizon (how recent the price data is) and Radius (how far geographically to pull comparisons). Ultra-tier users get granular control over the intelligence engine powering their audits. Privacy-First by Design (Sovereign Protocol) β€” Your data is yours. Sharing with the Lattice is opt-in. Export your full purchase history as JSON at any time, and account deletion wipes everything β€” no retention, no exceptions. Who It's For CartLens is for anyone who shops β€” which is everyone. But it's especially valuable for: Households managing a monthly budget across multiple spending categories Shoppers who compare stores and want to know if it's actually worth it Anyone who suspects they're overpaying but can't prove it People who want to understand their spending without building a spreadsheet Why Now Prices across retail have been volatile. Consumers are more price-aware than ever β€” but awareness without information doesn't save money. CartLens gives you the information layer that's been missing: not just what you spent, but what you should have spent, and exactly where the gap is. Built for the Real World CartLens is a Progressive Web App β€” no app store required. It works on any device with a camera and a browser. Scan a receipt on the go, check your Optimization Score at home, and ask CartAssistant a question whenever curiosity strikes. Smarter shopping starts with knowing the truth about your receipts. CartLens tells you.

CartAssistant can now search the Lattice.

The CartAssistant can now search the Lattice. You can ask CartAssistant questions about prices β€” and it will actually go look them up in the Geospatial Lattice in real time. Try asking things like: "Is $90 a good price for almond milk near me?" "Where's the cheapest place nearby to get what's in my basket?" "Am I paying above the market rate for this?" Instead of just analyzing your past receipts, CartAssistant now has live access to the price index β€” the same crowdsourced data that powers CartLens's scan verdicts. It finds the answer, tells you where the better price is, and how far away it is.

Install CartLens" popup close (X) button is misaligned. Clicking the icon directly fails; the actual clickable area is slightly above the visual X. Adjusting the CSS hitbox to match the graphic will easily fix this!

Most budgeting apps feel like an autopsy. I built CartLens to give consumers a high-fidelity "Intelligence Layer" for physical commerce.
