Updated .htaccess snippet (Apache 2.4) and extra scan results implemented
Just shipped three new checks to the GuardingWP scanner: Security headers — checks for HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, and Permissions-Policy. Most WordPress hosts don't set any of these by default. HTTPS redirect — verifies that http:// actually redirects to https://. Surprising how many sites have a valid SSL cert but still serve over plain HTTP when you skip the www. Cookie flags — checks whether session cookies have Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite set. WordPress cookies frequently miss these. Each finding links to a plain-English fix guide with copy-paste .htaccess and nginx snippets. Speaking of .htaccess — I also fixed a bug in the XML-RPC fix guide. The snippet used Order Deny,Allow / Deny from all, which is Apache 2.2 syntax. Modern hosts run Apache 2.4 and don't load mod_access_compat by default, so that snippet was breaking sites. It's now Require all denied. A user caught this — thanks.
