Early launch reflections
We’re a few hours into launching Jots and love seeing the engagement so far 🔥 The product is still early, and the most valuable part for us right now are the questions and feedback. We’re listening closely and learning fast. Curious: what’s one thing you wish you reflected on more often in your daily work?

I wish I reflected more on how I can leverage my strongest skills within my network and where I can seek support for my weaker points. This would save me time when I get stuck on a problem.

looks very promising! i'll try
Sounds good! Let us know how it goes :)
Looks like a solid product designed with a lot of care. I love the fact that it is based on actual hardproven research and it is build around that scientific framework!
Thanks for the kind support! We are indeed backing our tooling with research to provide the most effective insights.
Anything that encourages reflection is part of self development. Great project!
Completely agree! Thanks!
Nice project! I like how you are encouraging reflection in your app.
Thanks for the support!
This one looks very unique. Have seen daily planners and todo list but reflection seems a novice one. UI is super smooth.
Thanks for the words of support. It means a lot. As founders, we practice reflection daily and observe its benefits, we want to share this practice with others too.
Really like the focus on daily reflection. Curious, do you provide prompts or guidance, or is it fully open-ended for users to reflect on their own?
Hey! we provide both guided prompts and free-journaling with a simple editor augmented with AI prompts if you needed it. For the guided prompts, we have two types: quick, one-sentence prompts and longer reflection templates.
Hi! As Loic mentioned, we provide multiple options for reflections. Our reasoning is that some days you just want to write down your reflections through an editor. Some other days, you might need inspiration with guided prompts.
Great idea. Reflection is under valued especially for personal life sometime. I used Notion in the past and started using Day One. I will check this out.
100% agreed that this is an undervalued skill! But it's getting more relevant nowadays. Julien and I both started reflecting first on Notion as well before building Jots! We do like Day One too but we wanted something more pro oriented.
These are great tools too. With our tooling we want to make it very dev centric with our integrations and we also believe in guidance for better reflection for those that need it.
I like the flexible tooling to boost reflection skills. I feel that the insights could be valuable for my development.
Thanks! Let me know how you find the tooling.
This is Jots, an AI-powered reflection journal for developers. The goal is to help devs think more critically and learn better, especially in the age of AI. Thanks for taking a look!
