Most training apps hand you a template and call it a program. You log your sessions, it tracks your data, and the plan stays exactly the same regardless of how you actually performed. That is not coaching. That is a spreadsheet with a nicer interface.
Pelaris does something different. It builds your training program from scratch based on your sport, your goals, your available training days, and your current fitness level. Then it keeps adapting it. Every session you log, every RPE score you report, every workout you miss or exceed feeds back into the coaching logic and the program adjusts forward.
This is adaptive periodization. It is the methodology serious coaches use to manage training load over months, not just weeks. The principle is straightforward: your body treats training stress as a signal. Too much, too soon and it breaks down. Too little and it stagnates. The right amount, applied consistently and progressively, and it adapts upward. The hard part is knowing what "the right amount" is for you, right now, given everything that has happened in the last two weeks of training. That is what Pelaris tracks.
What makes Pelaris different
Generic apps prescribe load. They do not know whether your body can absorb it. Pelaris tracks the gap between the training you planned and the training you actually did, then uses that gap to inform what comes next.
A session where you hit every interval at target is different information from a session where you completed the same work but your RPE was two points higher than expected. Both look the same in a training log. They are not the same to a coach. Pelaris treats them differently.
Who it is built for
Pelaris is built for serious hobbyist athletes. The swimmer training five days a week around work and family. The cyclist who has outgrown generic plans but does not have the schedule or budget for a full-time coach. The triathlete managing three disciplines and trying to peak at the right time. The CrossFit athlete who wants structured periodization rather than randomised daily programming.
These athletes know enough to know that generic apps are not serving them. They want the methodology a good coach would apply. They want a program that responds to their training reality rather than an idealized version of it.
The sports and methodology
Pelaris covers swimming, running, cycling, triathlon, strength training, CrossFit, and general fitness. Each sport is supported with methodology appropriate to that discipline. Periodization structures, taper logic, load management, and recovery protocols are all calibrated per sport. A swimming program is not a running program with different units. The coaching logic is specific to the demands of each sport.
The technology underneath
Built on Flutter and Firebase, powered by Vertex AI. The AI coaching layer is not a rules engine or a template library. It is a generative coaching system that reasons about your training context and produces adaptive recommendations accordingly.
Developed by an enterprise AI leader with a decade of experience deploying AI at scale across hundreds of applications globally. Featured in Forbes and IT News. Keynoted at Gartner and ServiceNow Knowledge on agentic AI and how organisations move from AI strategy to measurable results.
The same discipline applied to enterprise AI at scale is what drives Pelaris. Systematic. Evidence-based. Built to adapt, not just to track.
Currently in early access
Pelaris is free during early access. The product is live at coach.pelaris.io. Sign up, complete intake, and your first program is generated within minutes.

Would definitely try it, this is something I've been looking for a long time.
@gal580 Thanks appreciate it. I would love feedback so please feel free to message me, use our contact form or you can provide feedback in app using the buttons at the bottom of the nav bar
Great launch campaign!
@bradhunt92 thank you for the support
Congrats on the launch, good luck in the future with it. Looks good
Congrats, best of luck!
@solzee57 Appreciate the support
Congrats on the launch! Will definitely check this out!
@derekdunn5 Thank you, would love feedback. You can give it in app via the buttons at the bottom of the nav bar or by using the contact form on our website
Oh cool, does it work on iOS?
I'd be really interested in this as well
@nilepo5046 Unfortunately not yet. We are working to really nail down the product first. Android and iOS apps are very high up on our feature list though. Won't be far
@PelarisBrad Great to know. Would love the Android app to help with tracking
Personalized AI training for multiple sports is such a solid idea. Generic workout templates never account for sport-specific demands. Really cool to see this built for real athletes.
@chaudharyarun5797 Thanks mate. It started because Gemini was doing an unreal job but then kept forgetting everything because of context running out. It also got annoying using a chat UI. So I set out to do memory and a dashboard UI
congratulations sir, i just came across your post and i saved it for later reading because i am at work
@theeye Thank you very much, really appreciate it. Would love feedback, so when you finish work, jump in & give it a run. There are feedback button at the bottom of the nav bar or you can drop them here or use the contact form at pelaris.io
Looks interesting!
@nathan-brodin Thanks mate. I would love feedback. You can leave it here or in the app, there is a feedback and bug report button at the bottom of the nav bar :)
Congratulations on the launch. How do you plan to compete in a saturated market among big players? Lot of established brands and influencers. How do you know the programs you're generating are good? How are you planning on monetising?
@SpiderJohn Great questions! A few things. 1) we aren't just an AI wrapper 2) our MCP connectors allow us to be persistent memory for Claude and ChatGPT 3) Workout tracking is, and always will be free 4) 5 layer AI program generation
Congrat on the launch. This is great idea, just created an account and it gave me a full exercise program base on my need, look awesome. Congrats! Btw I also launched PainBase today too
@tommypham Thanks for signing up, hopefully you like it :) Already joined up to PainBase earlier, great work.
@PelarisBrad Appreciate it 🙌
Interesting idea. ChatGPT and Claude are great at workouts and programs but I always struggle with their context limits and compacting. I try to have a bunch of MD files to maintain everything. How did you handle generating an AI program?
@TravisMcgee thanks for the question. It's been a journey. We now have a 5 layer system for Program generation. Looks at goals, physiological profile, then aligns to science based methodologies, before generating sessions
@PelarisBrad Thanks for the reply
Pelaris builds and adapts science-based training programs for serious athletes. Every session you log shapes what comes next. Stop tracking. Start navigating.
