About The Aether Engine
With the rise of AI many gamers, writers, bookworms, and others like them are interested in roleplaying with new AI tools. I found myself among that collection and was constantly frustrated with the little details the AI would hallucinate and forget almost CONSTANTLY so I took it upon myself, and after an embarrassing length of time and many many iterations, I created The Aether Engine. This AI Game Engine is purpose built to remember what your character did, or didn't do, even after consecutive hours of roleplaying! I then brought it a step further and rebuilt the system so that the world you are playing in actually progresses dynamically behind the scenes. Remember that merchant you passed by on the way to the village? Even if you don't, they will emerge two sessions later in the area they were traveling to and they will surely remember you.... (Some features still in active development, and yes, the website is going to get a facelift here VERY soon)

Patch Notes: Aether Engine v0.4.5 - "The Interface Awakening"
**Patch Notes: Aether Engine v0.4.5 — "The Interface Awakening"** Greetings, Architects. Today we are deploying a significant infrastructure and visual update to the Aether Engine. Our focus for this cycle was on strengthening the stability of world-forging protocols and enhancing the legibility of the Aethernet interface. Below are the detailed shifts in reality. --- **🌌 VISUALS & CORE INTERFACE** * **Aethernet Sidebar V2**: The primary navigation matrix has been reconstructed. * **Scale Increase**: Sidebar width and font sizes have been scaled up for better accessibility on high-resolution displays. * **Full Spectrum Height**: The sidebar now correctly spans the total height of the browser viewport, preventing layout "leaks." * **Chroma Contrast**: We’ve adjusted the luminosity of secondary and "muted" text. Interaction logs and lore entries are now significantly easier to read against dark-fantasy backgrounds. * **Iconography Stabilization**: Multiple UI elements have received high-definition icon updates, ensuring the Interface remains visually consistent. **🛠️ STABILITY & BUG FIXES** * **Manual Forge**: Resolved a critical instability that caused the "Manual Forge" portal to collapse (crash) during initial world configuration. * **Chronicle Retrieval**: Fixed an ancient data-loop that caused a "spinning wheel" hang-up when attempting to open the World Chronicle without a world ID. * **AI Forge Protocols**: Improved the reliability of the AI Forge connection. The "Connection Interrupted" error has been largely mitigated, and when the Aether fails, it will now provide a detailed diagnostic signature instead of a generic failure. Much more was added in this update, please read the full patch notes on our site or our discord!

World of Warcraft vibes
This is like rpg right? where youroleplay with other characters?
@sharmashantanu911 You are exactly right! Choose from our prefab worlds or even create your own. Soon we will have a World and NPC marketplace with tons of free and premium options available as well.
This could be so cool! Does it impact you if you stay away from the game too long? Like do you progress as well?
@clsmiles52 That is absolutely one of our flagship features! As of right now: NPCs will send you post cards (message updates) while you are away, scheduled events progress even if you aren't in your session, and more! Check it out!
Cool idea! Good luck!
