Bringboard • Hiring software that fits your process
Bringboard is an applicant tracking system built for growing teams. It's the tool between spreadsheets and enterprise software - structured enough to run a real hiring process, simple enough that you don't need a dedicated HR team to use it.
Currently in free open beta at bringboard.com. No credit card required, no feature gates.
Who it's for
Bringboard is built for startups, small businesses, and mid-size teams that are actively hiring but don't need (or want) the complexity of enterprise recruiting platforms. If you're a founder making your first hires, a small HR team managing multiple open roles, or a recruiter who's tired of juggling tools, this is for you. Candidates interact through branded, public-facing careers pages you control.
What it does
At its core, Bringboard gives you a centralized place to manage your entire hiring process:
Pipeline management -> Create positions with custom hiring stages, drag and drop candidates through your pipeline, track where every applicant stands. Archive with reasons, set "reconsider after" dates, and never lose track of a strong candidate again.
Candidate profiles -> Every candidate gets a unified record: profile data, resumes, rich-text notes, activity timelines, source tracking, tags, and custom fields. You can add custom fields for anything - text, numbers, dates, locations, even audio recordings.
Built-in email -> This isn't a bolt-on integration. Bringboard has full threaded email powered by Postmark. Send and receive emails directly from the platform, use message templates with merge fields, set up custom sending domains with DKIM verification, and track delivery, opens, and bounces. Your candidates see emails from your domain, not from some third-party tool.
Interview scheduling -> Connects to Google Calendar and Google Meet. Set up meeting types with configurable durations, buffer times, and availability rules. Candidates get a booking page where they can pick a time that works, cancel, or reschedule - no back-and-forth emails.
Workflow automations -> Build trigger-action workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks. Trigger on events like "candidate moved to stage" or "application submitted," then automatically send emails, move candidates, or update properties. Set these up at the org level or per position.
Careers pages -> Launch a branded careers portal on a free subdomain (yourcompany.bboard.page) or your own custom domain. Configure application forms, SEO settings, and branding. It's included - no separate careers page tool needed.
Talent pool -> Don't lose strong candidates who aren't right for the current role. Pool them for future opportunities and come back when the right position opens.
Candidate enrichment -> Pull in LinkedIn and GitHub data automatically to enrich candidate profiles without manual research.
Analytics -> Track source effectiveness, pipeline velocity, interview metrics, and campaign performance at the position and org level.
Team collaboration -> Invite your team with role-based access (owner, admin, member), assign people to specific positions, and keep everyone aligned with shared notes and activity timelines.
What makes it different
Most ATS tools fall into two camps: too basic to run a real process, or too bloated and expensive for teams under 50 people. Bringboard sits in the middle.
The key differentiators: email and scheduling are native, not integrations you bolt on. The automation engine actually works without a consultant to set it up. Careers pages with custom domains are included, not an upsell. And the whole thing is free during beta - full feature set, no artificial limits.
Tech & integrations
Google Calendar + Meet for scheduling. Postmark for email. GitHub and LinkedIn for candidate enrichment. The product is web-based with a fast UI, command palette, keyboard shortcuts, and global search across candidates, positions, docs, and actions.
