About Callout

Callout checks construction drawing PDFs against 43+ building codes and standards across 7 AEC disciplines in a single pass. Upload your drawings, select the codes that apply, and get a structured list of findings with severity ratings, confidence levels, and exact code section references. Each finding includes a severity classification (Critical, Major, Minor, or Advisory), a confidence rating (High, Medium, or Low) that signals how reliable the citation is, and a suggested resolution. Engineers review each finding and accept, reject, or edit it. Those decisions feed a calibration system that adapts future reviews to match the reviewer's judgment, without any model fine-tuning. Supported disciplines include mechanical/HVAC, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, energy, and fire protection. Supported codes include IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, NEC, NFPA 13, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, IMC, UMC, IPC, UPC, IECC, ASHRAE 62.1, ASHRAE 90.1, ADA, ICC A117.1, IEEE 80, NESC, and more, plus local codes and jurisdiction amendments. Additional features: Firm Standards Library. Add up to 20 plain-English firm-specific requirements (for example, "Minimum 36-inch clearance on service side of all HVAC equipment"). Callout checks drawings against your firm standards alongside the selected model codes, and tags each finding with its source. Jurisdiction Amendments. Upload local or state amendment PDFs and Callout cross-references the amendment text against the base model codes during review. Findings from jurisdiction amendments are tagged separately so you can see exactly what came from your local code versus the model code. Review Depth. Choose Quick, Standard, or Thorough review depth depending on how granular you need the review to be. Credit cost scales with depth. Export and Sharing. Export findings to CSV, Excel, or PDF. Generate read-only shareable links for team collaboration. Findings include sheet location, code reference, severity, confidence, and source attribution in every export format. Organization Support. Create a team, invite members, share firm standards and jurisdiction amendments across the organization, and track usage with an ROI dashboard. Callout uses a credit-based pricing model with no subscriptions. Credits never expire. 50 free credits on signup, no credit card required. Starter pack is 100 credits for $8, Professional is 700 credits for $49, and Studio is 1,500 credits for $99. Cost works out to approximately $0.07 to $0.33 per sheet depending on the pack and review depth. Built by a licensed Professional Engineer. Zero data retention on the AI layer. Drawings are temporarily uploaded for processing and deleted immediately after review.
