QR + NFC tipping with no app download needed is brilliant for creators and service workers. Love the team tip splitting feature and transparent payout model too.
We’ve also been seeing interest from hospitality, like hotels and rentals using small signs so guests can tip housekeeping since most people don’t carry cash anymore.
This is really clever and a really nice, professional looking site, well done!
@kmazanec really appreciate that, thank you! We tried to keep everything simple and frictionless so people can tip in seconds. Curious, where do you think something like this would work best?
@brendan Coffee shops, live music sets, farmer's markets, anywhere people aren't using a POS system that has tipping built in
@kmazanec that’s spot on, especially places without built-in tipping. We’ve seen the same thing with coffee shops and small events where cash just isn’t there anymore. Appreciate you calling those out
We built OpenTipJar for a cashless world—scan or tap to tip in seconds. No app, no signup. Also supports team tip splitting. Would love your feedback 🙌
