About SecretStash
SecretStash allows you to store, share, and manage all your application credentials in one centrally managed, encrypted vault. Features include zero-knowledge encryption designed specifically for development teams, ensuring that you maintain complete privacy and security over your sensitive access keys and login data. Leverage both a web-based interface or the open source CLI to push, pull, sync, and share your environment variables with ease, security and peace of mind. All variables, secrets, and configuration settings are encrypted with a 256-bit secret key that is stored locally on your and your team's machines. This ensures SecretStash and our server never have access or knowledge of your content or passwords. Future features planned are activity logs, audit trails, and role based permissions.

SecretStash just got two major upgrades
You can now clone or copy environments directly in the interface, making it much faster to set up new environments by reusing an existing configuration. The official SecretStash NPM package is now available at @secret-stash/cli, giving non-Laravel and non-PHP users a way to sync and share credentials with teammates and across environments. The package is a Node.js/TypeScript CLI for the SecretStash API and supports both project and global installation.

Zero-knowledge credential management for teams is exactly the kind of tool dev teams need. Syncing env variables securely without leaking secrets is a real pain. Solid solution.
Great visuals! What was the tool?
@alex5616 These are just screenshots that I took using CleanShot.
Congratulations on the launch! What made you build this?
@vabuesconnect I had a problem that I kept coming across when I brought on a new developer to my team or we had to cycle an API key. It always was confusing and often lead to down time.
Absolutely something that is useful especially to me and managing my creds!
Strong focus on zero-knowledge encryption makes SecretStash stand out—feels like a solid, developer-friendly way to manage and sync secrets across teams without sacrificing privacy or control.
